Australian Horizons Foundation:
Official Charity Partner of Savannah in the Round
Australian Horizons Foundation (AHF) was established over a decade ago in the heart of the Gulf of Carpentaria. AHF provides social and economic support to rural communities through an annual raffle program. Funds allow them to deliver the Let’s Get Rural social support and rural advocacy program, as well as to donate to other rural-focussed charities and groups.
The current raffle is in support of four separate rural kids’ education projects - a learning with laughter comedy science show for the whole family, sports activities that combine physical activity with learning, two bursaries to assist rural students undertake tertiary studies, and an equine assisted learning program for remote students. It features three prizes - a 2023 Suzuki Jimny GLX, a new Sea-Doo Jetski, and $10,000 of new camping gear.
Entries close at 4pm this Saturday, 30 September 2023, with the 6pm draw live streamed on the AHF Facebook page.
Tickets are just $20 each and bundles from as little as $6 a ticket.
