Savannah in the Round has officially announced its incredible Aussie artist lineup for 2021!
With the attention of country music fans around the world focused squarely on Australia in October 2020, as Tropical North Queensland hosted the very first COVID-Safe country music festival on earth, Savannah In The Round has well and truly delivered on its promise of being the next big thing for Australian country music fans.
Savannah in the Round takes place from 1-3 October 2021 at Mareeba, in the scenic Cairns Hinterland.
As announced by Lee Kernaghan on stage at The Salt House in Cairns last week, as part of his special guest performance at the Savannah Summer Series, Savannah In The Round will take place on 1-3 October 2021 at Mareeba in the scenic Cairns Hinterland, placing the focus on promoting Australian country music talent.
“There’s never been a more important time for Australia to get behind its artists and its local communities” said Sound Australia’s James Dein. “Savannah in the Round was always conceived as an event to bring the Tropical North Queensland community together, as well as drive interstate tourism and shine a light on the amazing talent this country has to offer. COVID-19 may have caused a few setbacks along the way, but thanks to the amazing support from our artists, our sponsers and the Queensland community, we’ve been able to get this event back on track. We couldn’t think of anywhere on earth that we’d rather be hosting the next major country music event, than Australia’s new home of country music, Tropical North Queensland.”

John Williamson, Lee Kernaghan, Tex Perkins 'the Man in Black', Graeme Connors, Troy Cassar-Daley, Busby Marou, The McClymonts, The Wolfe Brothers, Casey Barnes, Felecity Urquhart, James Blundell, Jasmine Rae, Fanny Lumsden, The Buckleys and more.
Packed exclusively with homegrown talent from around Australia, the inaugural event will welcome the return of country music icon Lee Kernaghan, rising star Casey Barnes, country music royalty John Williamson and Aussie favorites Busby Marou.

Australia’s favourite sister act The McClymonts will also be making the trip up north, along with Graeme Connors, Troy Cassar-Daley, The Wolfe Brothers, Fanny Lumsden, James Blundell, The Buckleys and more.
Festival organisers are also actively seeking out a major international country music artist to perform at Savannah In The Round 2021, pending travel restrictions between Australia and the world opening back up in the new year.
